Summary

Remento is a desktop app that runs on your own Mac. There is no Remento server. The developer does not collect, receive, store, or sell your data.

Google user data

If you connect a Google account, Remento requests read-only access to your Google Calendar (calendar.readonly). It reads upcoming events (title, time, attendees, description, and video meeting link) to find your next meeting and help you prepare for it. Remento never creates, edits, or deletes calendar events.

Event details are processed on your computer. To decide what kind of meeting an event is, Remento may send the event's details to Anthropic's Claude service, which you configure and sign in to yourself. Google data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to train AI models.

Remento's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

Your Google sign-in token is stored in the macOS Keychain on your computer. The list of connected accounts is stored in a settings file on your computer. Nothing is stored anywhere else by Remento.

Other services

During a call, Remento sends audio to the speech-to-text service you configure, and text to Anthropic's Claude service, under your own accounts with those services and their privacy policies.

Removing access

Disconnect an account in Remento's Settings, which deletes its token from your Keychain and revokes it with Google. You can also remove Remento's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
